Students from the Global Studies class at Claremont Secondary in Saanich had two conversations with youth in South Africa on December 7, 2011. The first conversation was dubbed "Breakfast in Africa" where Claremont students came to school for a 7:30am call with South African students and they found they had much in common. They exchanged their views on climate change and discussed the importance of global solutions to our environmental challenges.
The second conversation was with Global Studies students and the FUN-Del, which is the young delegation to COP 17 from Victoria and Vancouver, led by Maia Green, Founder of the FUN Society (Friends Uniting for Nature).
